In this talk, panelists will offer their views on why child safeguarding is important in the context of peacekeeping and the key role of training peacekeeping personnel on child safeguarding considering the case of Uruguay, the first country in the world with a Child Safeguarding Policy for personnel deploying in peacekeeping missions in line with KCS International Child Safeguarding Standards.
